Martin + darren + ian = the loop Guitar/vocal + drum / backing vocal + bass = s'all ya need!! Since the days johnny kidd never replaced his second guitarist in his pirates, the power trio was born in the uk. Wanna perfect example ? The loop. It works, it really works. Of course there's a couple or three other things to consider. Any decent tunes with this loop lot? Any decent tunes!!! Check out there previous material, delve in, do your homework - the rewards are there! Not just an odd tune, oh no, start at the beginning and you will realize this is a band who go from strength to strength. However the strength of the loop is not all in the talents of the songwriting, oh no!! Of note is the backbone of the band - the drumming and the bass - this is truly a powerhouse sound on its own and may well be amongst the tightest sound around. This may be a bold statement to make but catch 'em live and its hard to disagree.
