Until now no band has attempted to mix Disco and Sixties Punk like this Swiss Trio on their second album "Questions for Honey". Allthough it isn't easy to compare them to anything else that has been done, you could say its like Kingsleys hit "Popcorn" being played by the Oblivians, or Yello covering The Monks. Do you know what I mean? This is definitely garage, without any guitars, but with organs always operate above a solid structure made out of heavy drums and distorted bass guitar, and vocals which turns to be somewhere between hysteric and shakily pre-pubescent. So, the whole thing isn't as simple as Garage, more important is the groove, and the details here which take you on a ride from 60's Beat to Soul, to Trash, Pop, and Noise with reduced New Wave Beats. This music is best heard in dirty company, and could change your bedroom into a Redlight Basement Bar where the beer glasses are washed in Hard Alcohol. This is Minimalbeat by Existentialists and for Existentialists. But have no fear, this is no eyewash of recycled retro sounds, Lo fat Orchestra captures the essence of all these styles, and puts them together in a way that makes "Questions for Honey" a thrilling experience up until the very last note.
