In the early years of the new millennium Pentagram member Bobby Liebling was going through a quieter period after the band disbanded. Dave Sherman, Liebling's longtime friend and member of Earthride and Spirit Caravan, started hanging out with Bobby more regularly and eventually the duo started recording together.
