Laurellas are two 11-year old girls, Laura and Ella, who write and perform their own songs as well as designing posters and other promotion material. Punk Rock Girl/ I Want You is their first single, sounding like a mixture of punk heroes the Ramones and Avril Lavigne. The reviews so far have been very positive and the girls have made one TV appearance. Based in southern Sweden (Helsingborg) Laurellas have sold well locally and the girls are now ready to take one step further, with national distribution of their single. As the Ramones put it: Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World! Heaven knows where this is going to end... The Laurellas are pure energy and fun, just as pop punk used to be.
