With this 3rd album KATHAROS widens its universe while remaining in its fundamentals: rock-folk and the french language. As a reminder, most of his repertoire is based on atmospheres and medieval stories or legends. But not only ! A few pieces of festive spirit or narrative ballads complete the compositions. Multiple influences inspire KATHAROS. They come particularly from the world of rock-celtico-medieval-pirate Alestorm, Equilibrium, Korpiklaani, Mänegarm or the little-known German group Feuerschwanz. But also more "power-metal" rock bands like Gloryhammer, Powerwolf or Sabaton. As for the french reference, it has its roots in mythical progressive-rock formations of the 70s such as Atoll, Mona Lisa or Triangle, but above all refers to the emblematic figure of the genre, ANGE. this group always present with its more than 50 years of career! KATHAROS is also close to more recent French groups such as Motis or Naos. The bonus of this 3rd album: a "revisited" cover of the famous "Bal des Laze" by Michel Polnareff.
