Now tighter as a quartette, following the departure of their Keyboard player, the band pursues the same path, pushing the music further with this sixth opus. Allaxis is the result of their experience on stage and of the multiple musical influences of the musicians. With the clear determination to move away from the reggae dub standards, the band delivers an untamed vision of its personal music, this time darkness clearly prevails on Light. Allaxis, the eponymous track that opens the album, laying the basis: an oppressing atmosphere with roaring baselines and a tangible tension that permeates throughout the record. Chord Note, incandescent fury ready to implode at any moment, packed with heavy baselines, threatening textures and apocalyptic synthetic assaults. Find us, Pack Ice, No More Dread oscillate between skanks and delays and the omnipresent dark and heavy atmosphere, somewhere between digital dub and dubstep. Featured on 3 of the 9 tracks, Learoy Green's vocals add a different tone to the album. His interventions clearly denote with the rest of the album (like in Run and go hide) and are a source of peacefulness and Warmth contrasting with the darker and harsher side of the other tracks.
