Water is one of the most complex symbols of the Hungarian folk art. The life of an individual from birth to death is accompanied by rituals and images related to water. Life, death, transformations, the passing of time, the farewell to the old, the coming of the new are all expressed through the message of rivers, lakes, springs, wells, seas. On this album, Reka Juhasz immerse herselve in this exciting symbolism. From different parts of the Carpathian Basin, she hears drifting, strong flowing or quietly flowing melodies.
