INVSN is a continuation Dennis Lyxzen of the Refused's solo project formerly called the Lost Patrol. As the project's sound expanded it changed from a solo act to a group and became known as the Lost Patrol Band and then Invasionen. Sara Almgren from Masshyteri (who was in The (International) Noise Conspiracy with Dennis) has been in the band thoughout most of it's incarnations and this release shows the band moving towards an industrial, power pop sound on this new single. Sister Mystery is Jennifer Goodridge (Your Enemies Friends, Seaspin, and Cold & Lovely), Brian Grover (Horse the Band, Thriller, and currently Tired) and Jason of the Moonrats Coming from Southern California, Sister Mystery brings a sincere voice to the occult aesthetic revival. The band's moody blend of shoegaze, post-punk, and experimentation is reflected in the painful ecstasy of its sound, creating an atmosphere akin to dancing in the desert. Only 250 copies made!
