Indian Ghost is a discreet group from Toulouse, of rare elegance, always at the border of obsessive perfectionism and chronic dilettantism. They have delivered "Long Far Gone", their fifth album in 22 years. With a lack of concern over productivity, and a discography spanning over two decades, as always, the product is high quality as we are dealing with artisans, whose care and perfectionism we oft see in fine silverware or even precision watchmaking; our Helvetii neighbors. As is the case for each of their releases, Indian Ghost offer us an album as complex as it is simple. Each wall of this musical construction has its own illumination, its unique architecture, yet all aspects fit together methodically in the end to form a singular monument, scintillating, emotionally powerful with an obvious harmony and inaccessible correctness.
