Released as CD and vinyl LP on Vendetta. The Danish Ildskaers have chosen a difficult topic for their second album. In terms of content, the band deals very critically with the Schleswig War between Denmark and Prussia around 1860. Like a kind of soundtrack, they underline this dark theme with a sound that is no less dark and cool. "Blog Og Jern" (Blood and Iron) has become a real masterpiece and the band no longer needs to hide behind the omnipresent Afsky. In addition to the genre's usual stylistic devices, smaller solos and organ passages are cleverly incorporated here, which distinguish the album from many other productions and create a threatening atmosphere. Maybe the best Danish metal album of the year.
