Formed in the Virginia Beach and Norfolk areas during 2007, HONOUR CREST seamlessly blend fast post-hardcore and electronica to create a sound that is one step ahead of their peers these days. Zach Fitzpatrick, Jimmy Dillon, and Cory Beaver on guitar, bass, and drums respectively, perfectly complement Luke Borzas aggressive vocals. Rounding out the five-piece and adding an extra dimension their contemporaries lack is Chad Oranges electronics programming, fusing perfectly with the bands intense guitar work and vocals. Metrics will be the bands third release and the follow-up to their 2010 self-titled EP. The brand new album was recorded by Andrew Baylis and mastered by Taylor Larson. It showcases the bands ever-flowing progression throughout each of their three releases. This in turn makes Metrics their best work yet, with even more potential shown on each of the eight tracks included.
