This is underlined by the artist, who also plays the trumpet excellently, through her very own style of mixing
traditional blues with soul elements and tango. Also in the song "Vuelvo al sur" by the Argentine tango revolutionary
Astor Piazzolla, incidentally the only track on "Visiones" that did not come from her pen, Vanesa's love for tango and
her South American roots come to the fore. It is also worth mentioning that every song on "Visiones" has a picture that
visually translates the respective subject matter of the pieces of music - painted by Vanesa Harbek personally, whose
canvas art is also exhibited in a gallery in Berlin
