On their third album the Munich are mixing bavarian traditions with Mexican Bandas, CARIBOUs ,Odessa" and HANK WILLIAMS. G.RAG UND DIE LANDLERGSCHWISTER arent unsettled by the rampant ,new folk music" boom but keep on doing their own thing consequently - ,Honky Tonkin" is the next masterstroke since their last album ,The Woaz". An insanely perky repertoire of lndler and funeral marches, that causes quite a furore at the Munich Hofbrauhaus, at the Oktoberfest and in beer gardens and taverns for years now. Theres also some space for CARIBOUs ,Odessa", the melody of ,Monaco Franze" and Mexican Bandas, which - played by the LANDLERGSCHWISTER - sound so different than usually.
