Created by front-woman/rhythm guitarist Sarah Frick and bassist Jesse Frick in 2016, the powers of accessing the past and unlocking the future began to form. They were soon joined by lead guitarist Sean Fisher and drummer Jay Sullivan. Together, the group set out to create music for those who never felt in line with the status quo. Songs covering issues such as gaslighting, the struggle of aging, and finding power within yourself are rounded out by relatable love songs and angry anthems. Their attire is straight from the cosmic racks of the '70s but their words ring true to any era. Golden Ones are unapologetically loud, with high energy performances and an intensity that is second to none. With driving guitars, soaring vocals, melodic bass lines, and heavy drums, Golden Ones are determined to take their audience on a wild ride through time, while propelling their music into the future with their debut album Nowhere Fast.
