The group Space, Time, and Mirror extends and deepens the artistic work that I have been carrying out for several years around the idea of a chamber jazz music that would associate the intimate and dialogical horizon of chamber music with the energy jazz emancipator. For this new sextet, I looked for an instrumentation which allows the acoustic fusion of timbres like the sharp superimposition of the plans. The cast of the group was quickly imposed. The musicians who accompany me in this project share with me this concern for instrumental sound, and the desire for fluid and plastic music, which can navigate from writing to improvisation, from solo to tutti, from concerto grosso at Mingus.
