GALACTIC UNDERGROUND is the new project of Johan Geens aka Venja, composing and shaping soundscapes since 1987. After 17 albums (of which 5 with Klaus Schulze's IC Music, 3 with Deutsche Atrophon and 1 with Syngate) and 30 years of music making GALACTIC UNDERGROUND marks a new beginning. With this album GALACTIC UNDERGROUND shapes new worlds and presents the listener new and unheard sounds. It is not just space music, although the name may give you that impression. It is also ambient, atmospheric and, yes, sometimes deep or light-weighted and minimal. Sounds may be raw, fragile, thin, cold, harsh, mellow, distorted, unpleasant, angelic or deep. Furthermore with GALACTIC UNDERGROUND great musicians from around the globe are invited to participate. For this album guest musicians are Roksana Vikaluk, Erik Wllo and Robert Rich. - The printing consists of some unique 3D pictures from Patrick Vantuyne, who made these truly unique picted to 300 copies. - Included is a poster (also a printed 3D picture). - Also included is a pair of 3D glasses in order to view the cover and poster in real 3D !
