The first ever DVD to feature one of the great New-Wave acts of the late 1970s - The Fleshtones. The band formed in 1976 - and were a staple of the new-wave / garage-rock scene that dominated New York in the late 70s / early 80s - playing regularly at the likes of CBGBs and becoming the very first band to play in legendary 70s venues such as Irving Plaza and the Danceteria in Manhatten and Maxwells in New Jersey. They both rehearsed and gigged with their peers such as the Ramones and Blondie. They were snapped up by Police manager Miles Copelands IRS Records and went on to record four albums for the label - all the time building a significant live following. For over thirty years the band have recorded and toured - playing around the world to their ever-loyal fanbase - and are still going as strong as ever.
