MICHAEL FEUERSTACK is a Canadian Indie Rock musician, who is known for the bands WOODEN STARS and SNAILHOUSE. SNAILHOUSE was essentially a solo project with multiple contributing artists, including JULIE DOIRON of ERICS TRIP, with production work by JEREMY GARA of THE ARCADE FIRE. In 2012, FEUERSTACK announced that he was retiring the SNAILHOUSE name, and would be releasing future music under his own name. His fi rst album as MICHAEL FEUERSTACK, ,Tambourine Death Bed", was offi cially released 2013. His third album ,The Forgettable Truth" is another collaborative affair. FEUERSTACK sings and plays guitar. Accompaniment is provided by some familiar names: PIETRO AMATO (BELL ORCHESTRE, LUYAS) on keys, PETER XIROGANNIS on bass, and MIKE BELYEA (JENN GRANT) on drums. The albums clever compositions convey mood, time and emotion with masterful skill and result in a sometimes surprising, sometimes touching, but always highly emotional record.
