Another limited edition historical CD box set from Tapete, presenting the collected works of the legendary German Punk/Soul band Family 5. Founded by former Mittagspause/Fehlfarben singer Peter Hein and songwriter/guitarist Xao Seffcheque when Hein left Fehlfarben due to them becoming too successful as one of the premiere German New Wave bands of their time. Family 5 combined wave sounds with soul influences and created their very own - at least for Germany - sound on albums such as "Resistance", "Die neueste Terroridee des verrueckten Obert", and "Das Blaue vom Himmel". All of them included in this box set. Together with tracks from singles, mini-LPs, Eps, compilation tracks etc. You get the picture. 72 tracks in total, all intricately remastered by Tom Morgenstern. The clamshell box also includes two extensive booklets with - German-language - liner notes and a complete band discography.
