ACID QUEER - ELECTRO Joel Defrance and Laurent Dratler met in 2010 around the project of cabaret Tudansesmonchou, in which they shared and developed the taste and the experience of the stage during several years. They decided to create Eustache McQUEER in 2014 with Laurent aka DJ Poulet in producing electronic music, and with Joel Defrance in writing and vocal composition for the first tracks of the Volkino opus - in self-production and calling themselves do it yourself. Joel gives his figure fluorescent colors from his high heels, sharing to his partner Virilio his vision of intergalactic loves. As a regular in queers parties, the duo of performers is producing himself in LGBTQ and squats arty environment all around Europe. Choosing to explore the tools given by computer-aided composition, they will make singular choices in composition, that will mix acid sounds with trap and techno influences. Inspired from the Opera world, Joels voice - used in a percussive and lyrical way - makes the connexion with the electronic tracks and draws an emotional thread that accompanies all the album.
