Brand new band to emerge out of Geneva, Switzerlands rock scene, they are by far no rookie. Featuring members of so many band, including Brakhage, Chapter, Impure Wilhelmina, Iskander, Seaplane Harbor, and Swoan, which is, to our delight, proving us the never-ending vitality of Genevas rock microcosm. EQUUS is offering a music with uncertain foundations, linked by formal and rigorous researches. Sometimes mathematic, often complex, EQUUS music stays attached to an emotion of every minute. Taking their influences from the minimalist trends of the late 60s, as well as the instrumental rock and experimental music of the 70s, it switches from complicated parts inherited from progressive rock without the technical debauchery, and epic moments closer to hardcore minus the metal.
