EMPIRE ESCAPE founded in 2011 after a night together
by living in a Liverpool bar as a liberation and a new
beginning. After only two and a half years and countless
shows with bands such as I LIKE TRAINS or THE TEMPER
TRAP, the four Berlin boys present with ,Colours" an
impressive debut from the stack. Produced by MATHIAS
OLDEN(logh) and mixed by PELLE GUNNERFELDT (THE
HIVES, THE KNIFE, REFUSED), EMPIRE ESCAPE present
an album of rousing hymn to melancholic songs. Wavy
post-punk in the spirit of THE CURE mixes with orchestral
indie pop like INTERPOL and EDITORS.
