Stephen EL Rey is a San Diego singer-songwriter who has performed under various group forms from the 1990's to the
present. Side A of the album was recorded at legendary American Recording Studios in Memphis. The rare stereo echo
chambers and concrete floated floors have a history of being an integral part of producing numerous artists from Elvis
and Loretta Lynn to Sonic Youth and The White Stripes. This record has an americana, swamp blues, rock and soul feel!
Special guest appearances include international artist AJ Croce on piano, Greg Almond's Memphis horn players Art
Edmaiston and Marc Franklin, and world class Memphis drummer George Sluppick.
