Dreunigheit is a collaboration between Peter Moorkens (Onsturicheit) and Joost Carpentier (Dreun). It's the second time Peter and Joost work together. First time was with the 2018 Onsturicheit album Impressies. But unlike then where Joost was only the remixer or rather "resculptor" of Peter's already pre-existing music, now their aim was to start from zero, each making their own sounds and music to be reused and resculpted by the other. The result is both weird and familiar. Familiar for who has heard an Onsturicheit album before, weird for about everybody else. Onsturicheit has always been heavily influenced by Legendary Pink Dots and their psychedelic abyss, but with Dreunigheit we're even beyond that.
