Almost no club or squat in between Macedonia & Madrid, Belgrade & Berlin or Moscow & Marseille has been left out by this young band from Novi Sad / Serbia since they started in 2010. Relentlessly and completely DIY the DETONATORS have been touring all over the continent, book-your-own-life, and even a small UK-tour is being scheduled at this moment. The formula of the Detonators sound is quite simple: Traditional "Oldschool California-Punkrock" songwriting meets folk-instrumentation, like 90ties West-Coast Punkrock of Swingin Utters, Rancid or Social D. crossbred with Pogues & Flogging Molly - more Irish, less Balkan-beat style of their native region. The lyrics are concerned with breaking out, touring & travelling forever, longing for a different life, and a left/antifascist conception.
