Since their inception in 1980 Italian DARK QUARTERER have always played their own game, in spite of any temporary trends or businessrelated seduction. This creative integrity and originality has probably closed the doors of massive recognition, but has also led them to a welldeserved status of "Legend" for any metal fans not interested in following the latest, "sexy" mainstream offer. Since their epic-driven metal outset, the band has developed a personal sound that includes a solid musical background (members of the band run a Music School in their home town, Livorno), a polished and passionate song-writing and enthusiasm above all. "Symbols" is their third full length album, originally released in 2008 on compact disc by My Graveyard Productions. Its the album that breaks the rules of the previous releases and contributes to create Dark Quarterers current sound, an original, almost perfect mixture of Italian 70s prog rock music and the galloping sound of metal epic raids. Inspired by Historical characters whose stories have contributed to create our western principles thanks to their integrity and moral example, "Symbols" features 6 songs for a total running time of over 70 minutes. Now "Symbols" is available for the first time on a deluxe Double LP edition, limited to 350 copies, completely remastered and with the addition of a bonus track "Devil Stroke" that brings this mammoth-release to a length of over 80 minutes!
