Dageist's latest CD (EP) "The Abyss of Years" is the result of a special project between the duo from Lille and Philippe Lomprez, the singer of the mythical band Trisomie 21. The Abyss of Years sounds like a tribute and makes us travel in the universe of the Lomprez brothers' band, whose insiders will recognize the numerous references in the lyrics. The whole is carried by Philippe's characteristic voice which gives a lively and melancholic emotion, just like the bass or the guitar, to which is added the lighter singing of Schago (voice of Dageist) in the choruses. Faithful to its musical signature, Dageist has chosen to complete this CD The Abyss Of Years with 3 other terribly effective compositions, which oscillate between cold, dark and new wave.
