Crest Of Darkness was conceived in the mid-nineties when Ingar Amlien's former band Conception was still at its peak. During the early years COD release 4 albums ("Quench My Thirst", "Sinister Scenario", "The Ogress", "Project Regeneration") breaking the borders between Black, Gothic and Death Metal. In 2003 they ink a deal with My Kingdom Music and release the devastating and obscure "Evil Knows Evil", a sinister piece of music followed by the definitive consecration in 2007 with a dark and brutal piece of Extreme Metal "Give Us The Power To Do Your Evil". Garnering great reviews from both press and fans, Ingar decides to launch a new chapter in C.O.D's history and creates a colossal new masterpiece of extreme and powerful Black Metal. The result is "IN THE PRESENCE OF DEATH", a deliriously dark and magnificent work. On February 2013, My Kingdom Music releases the album. Expect the most intense CREST OF DARKNESS release so far.
