Find The One is the newest album by ex-Long Ryder Sid Griffins new band. Produced by UK folk legend John Wood (Fairport
Convention, Nick Drake, Squeeze, Beth Orton), it features 12 startling new tracks including a campfire cover of David
Bowies Heroes and a bluegrass version of the Stones Paint It Black. But dont be mislead, the balance of the album is a
fine collection of originals by Sid and other members of the band.
Find The One also has a guest appearance by both guitarist Richard Thompson and Beatles pal/BBC DJ Brian Matthew. They
may be UK-based, but The Coal Porters couldve all emerged form the hills of Sids native Kentucky where their music of
choice was invented
