"Lucid again" the third longplayer from australias no. one hardcorepunk outfit CLOWNS, marks a new aera for the band. they sound more mature, stocked up from 4 to five bandmembers and widen their style a bit - its allover a more coming of age, more adult record. don't worry - they aren't a lame tiger, doing some lukewarm rock thing - "Lucid Again" is still a punkrock record, but with tons of hooks and cool ideas. the paradigma shifted a bit from the Trash Talk "in your face"-approach they had on "Bad Blood" to a more psychedelic layer-overlayer like sound. Its a bit like Fucked Up turned out after doing three albums in four years. delay driven guitras, massive chourses, and overall Stevies trademark voice. If you dig the Bronx and Fucked Up, you will love this album.
