Toward the end of his 2006 UK summer tour, Bob was playing in Southampton and noticed a lovely woman sketching him during his show. Afterward, he was introduced to the artist who presented him with the sketch (which appears in the moon on the CD cover) and engaged her in a conversation. Thus began a mystical journey and symbiotic relationship that inspired forty poems and sixteen songs in a few months time. From this body of work comes Fionas World, Cheevers latest CD of "Delta-Celtic music" - which Bob translates as "Celtic tunes dipped in Mississippi Delta mud." Though a slight departure from the sound thats won over so many "Cheevers Believers" - it maintains the same depth and soulful delivery of his most critically acclaimed releases.
