Equinoxe is the 5th album from the Celtic Fiddle Festival - another exciting collection of truly international fiddle music featuring the collective and individual talents of acclaimed Fiddlers, Kevin Burke, Christian Lemaitre and Andr Brunet representing respectively the music of Ireland, Brittany and Quebec. These three fiddlers have played in bands that have been in the forefront of Celtic Music for decades - Kornog, La Bottine Souriante, Patrick Steet, The Bothy Band - so its a special treat to hear them combining their regional styles to form such an exhilarating fiddling trio. Beautifully sympathetic accompaniment is supplied by Ged Foley who also contributes the wonderfully lyrical "Sir Sydney Smiths March" as a solo guitar piece.
