Jacaranda
"Jacaranda" is a project created to celebrate Bossanova more than 60 years after its birth with the recording of the
first samba bossanova "Chega de Saudade", composed by Vinicius de Moraes and Antonio Carlo Jobim. Starting from the
origins of this genre, the musicians Mino Cavallo and Gaia Schiro explored its derivations and influences on jazz,
arranging original pieces and various other compositions from all over the world in a completely personal and
unprecedented way, sung in different languages, from the jazz-bossa classics to the more modern pop-jazz.
