Blind Faith
Jimmy Carter is an American Icon, recording over 30 albums with The Blind Boys of Alabama, founded in 1939. Jimmy is a
Co-founder and the last original member of The Blind Boys of Alabama. They have won five Grammy Awards, a Grammy
Lifetime Achievement Award, a National Heritage Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, and were inducted
into the Gospel Hall of Fame and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. Jimmy and The Blind Boys of Alabama have recorded and
performed with artists such as Prince, Lou Reed, Peter Gabriel, Bonnie Raitt, Ben Harper and many other national and
international artists. This is Jimmy Carter's first solo album, teaming up with song writer, producer and performer Ron
Pullman. Together, Jimmy and Ron have created a musical masterpiece by pulling from Jimmy's musical roots and the many
genres that Jimmy is passionate about, while keeping a Gospel message in all the songs. Jimmy and Ron called on many of
their friends such as Charlie Musselwhite, Alan Parsons, The Mendelson Choir of Pittsburgh, and the Preservation Hall
Jazz Band, just to name a few, to record on "Blind Faith". Jimmy's vocals are masterfully performed from 80 years of
singing for his millions of fans. "This is a beautifully performed, written, and produced piece of musical history. "Not
only is Jimmy Carter a great singer and entertainer, he's always deep...as deep as it gets... so deep he'll stir your
heart and soul." -- Charlie Musselwhite
