Buddy, the evolving collection of Los Angeles-based musicians led by a man named Buddy; returns with their sophomore release and a subtle transformation from cinematic, singer-songwriting, self-proclaimed "wimpy core" to "fully realized orchestral pop" (Kevin Bronson - Buzzbands LA). Last Call For The Quiet Life arrived after a lot of soul-searching and scrapping an initial follow-up to the bands 2007 release, Alterations and Repairs, which brought the band much love from the Film and TV world, as well as support from music press and local tastemakers KCRW. Last Call For The Quiet Life teams Buddy and co-member/producer Will Golden together and includes guest vocals from Michelle Branch, Cary Brothers, and Holly Conlan. The album was mixed by Phil Ek in Seattle.
