As a major French Reggae band , Broussaï has set fire to stages in Europe and beyond for almost 20 years (in Canada, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Jamaïca, Polynesia, .). The band charmed their audience through subtle lyrics, energic instrumentations, and melodies which always stir up emotions. Followers of the do it yourself system , the musicians have structured their adventure in a natural way, through the paths of independence and self-production. Yet, even if several of their studio albums were elected Best French Album during the Reggae Awards in 2010, 2013, and 2016, Broussaï remains ultimately a Live performing band. They are very close to their audience, and this mixed with a fiery performance makes their difference. The enthusiasm which radiates from their shows cannot leave anybody indifferent. After their latest album essentially concerned with the environment, Broussaï will produce in April 2023 a new one, entitled Solidaires , thus revealing another aspect of their career : humanism. Indeed, considering the present dark context of climate disruption, of biodiversity collapse, of mass migration, pandemic and wars, the band wishes to shed light on the hope that mankind will become aware of the necessity to get together in order to face those vital stakes. Supported through the grapevine from its early performances in the streets to the largest festivals, Broussaï stands out among the most prominent French bands. After performing over 1000 times, Broussaï live radiates an infectious and contagious energy.
