Country & Eastern is the debut album from Leeds agro-folk outfit Bootscraper. Bootscraper expertly combine elements of folk, country, punk and dirty skiffle with a piratey edge, with great musicianship and a range of instruments including mandolin, banjo, violin, accordion and more. The band has influences ranging from Balkan traditional to metal, resulting in a unique style. As a band they are Country & Eastern. Since forming in 2008 Bootscraper have been building a large fan base, starting with the residency at the Santiago in Leeds and expanded through taking their unique live experience across the country.For fans of Gogal Bordello, Tom Waits and Hayseed Dixie.
