Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Sanders Bohlke began where much of Americas great music began - the South. Just as The Blues became Rock and Roll, Bohlke found his voice and fingers - a formidable duo capable of austere beauty or unbridled heartbreak; in the Mississippi Delta. He honed his craft further in Oxford, where he attended the University of Mississippi and recorded his self-titled debut. This collection of 11 new songs, produced by Jeffrey Cain (Remy Zero), was recorded as a complete work - meant to be heard from start to finish. On their own, each track is a standout, every song an expansion of Bohlkes unique style; sparse and ethereal, layered and complex, with lush soundscapes against a soulful voice.
