In parallel of his several punk rock and stoner noise band, BILLY THE KILL chose, in 2006, to take a U-turn by having his own solo project, inspired by his great Anglo-Saxon heroes, far from the so-called trendy scene, who hit the spot with their classic songs. BILLY THE KILL follows the same path with dexterity, versatility and sincerity. After two albums respectively released in 2006 by nova express and 2009 by kicking records, acclaimed by the press and followed by 200 tour dates, Billy album gathers 10 folk indie rock tracks with power pop sounds and some bluesy influences. It sounds as if Johnny Cash was driving the Posies on the road from Jacksonville to Seattle. Billy lives and works in France, nothing stable for this young hobo in modern times.
