From a part of LA that is known as East of the river. Bettys Mustache began in 2008. After Jon's mother (Betty) and Martin's father (Mustache) passed away in '07, music became the much needed therapy. A couple of years later Jon met Alex (Conga player) while jamming at the Venice Beach drum circle. David (Bass) has been Alex's next door neighbor since they were kids. Both individually have added a new feel to the music and groove. The band incorporates a heavy dose of hip hop themed covers done in a Barrio or Urban Cumbia style. It's a crazy blend of Hip Hop with Rock and Cumbia. It makes for same real hip and butt shaking music.
