The band is led by the German born Jazz Drummer Daniel Besthorn, who is based in Rome. In this album he wants to convey his vision of music, in which music is the gateway to reach one's emotions. To achieve that, he chose a powerful and at the same time delicate horn and rhythm section. He composed and arranged music with different modes and topics to really let the listener experience a variety of emotions. Nevertheless the tunes are all connected by their shared spirit and vision. Daniel Besthorn music allows space for other genres to blend in, but is mainly considered as contemporary european Jazz music. This is also represented by the bandmembers, which are from Germany, Switzerland and Poland.
