BANE have been a mainstay of the hardcore scene for almost 20 years, putting out hard-hitting classics like Holding This Moment (1998), It All Comes Down to This (1999), Give Blood (2001), and The Note (2005). Now, this longtime Equal Vision Records band will release their fourth and final full-length album, Dont Wait Up, on May 13. The bittersweet announcement of the forthcoming final album comes nearly twenty years after BANEs first release, which led the band on countless tours and earned them widespread respect for being one of the hardest working bands in the business. Since their inception in 1995, BANE has toured all across the world countless times and has released three full-length albums, several 7"s and compilation releases. "I cant believe we did it.but we did it. To me [the new album] means, were leaving," shares vocalist Aaron Bedard in the bands recent behind-the-scenes video. "This is us with our jackets on, our hair is clean and were walking out the door and we look back at our loved ones and were like...dont wait up...were going to be out late tonight."
