ASENBLUT - a name that stands for the storm without the calm. In 2007 the band set out to change the face and sound of German VikingMetal forever. When the first songs where released it was already clear that no one was trying to make just another Pagan Metal record but to manifest the very creativity and passion of the musicians, to create a very unique mixture of Black/Thrash and DeathMetal. The debut of the Band "AUFBRUCH" sent tremors through the underground and beyond and the band was able to win their first loyal fans on tour, at festivals and on selected clubshows. Now after 3 years of creation process their newly crafted record is done. "VON WORTEN UND TATEN" is ready to conquer the ears, hearts and necks of old fans and new listeners alike. The band will perform a lot of shows to present their new piece of craftsmanship and is looking forward to even more gigs. The recent album was recorded and mixed by every trick in the book and stands up to highest technical standards! The rhythmguitars where recorded at the famous StageOne studio of grandmaster Andy Classen himself. Not only the production but the songs themselves know how to convince comprehensively.
