Marcello Appignani's new album is "Angeli - Nuove apparizioni" is the ninth by the Roman composer and is released following a long gestation period, after the release of the previous album "Solochitarra". The project involves a massive and varied use of musical instruments, from the orchestra, to the choir, to electronics and the collaboration of numerous and esteemed soloists called to record wind instruments, strings and harp. It all comes from a reworking of the composition "Angels" written by the Maestro exactly twenty years ago for a collective exhibition of contemporary visual art.
