Seattles Brent Amaker and the Rodeo are influenced by country music classics like Johnny Cash along with art rock/New
Wave artists like Devo, with a mood and sound that could crackle from an old jukebox in the background of a Tarantino
film. Dressed in black from head to toe, the Rodeos raucous, whiskey -infused live concerts and non-stop touring has
gained them a cult following in the form of the B.A.R Brigade, who come to
shows emulating the Rodeos distinct style. Its a formula thats hard to ignore. Brent Amaker and the Rodeos music has
appeared on the Showtime series, Californication and in the indie slasher film Punch by Jay Cynik.
Please Stand By is the Rodeos 3rd full-length release, and the band will be touring in support of the release this fall.
