"Neun Extralabel" sadly also serves as the epitaph for Aeronauten singer Olifr Maurmann aka Guz, who succumbed to his
heart condition after a long and futile wait for a donor heart in early 2020.
The new album, which Olifr and the band started working on in 2019 already has 13 songs that once again combine the
Aeronauten-style witty German language lyrics with their easy-going musical mixture of country, indie pop and even ska.
A much-welcome goodbye to the beloved singer, but also an album that manages to stand on its own merits.
